The principals of Paladin Eastside, John Forren, and Dr. Octavio Delgado, each have over 28 years of experience in providing transitional housing for inmates still under federal custody and guiding them through a process of vocational evaluation, obtaining and maintaining steady employment, alcohol and other drug counseling and testing, life skills development, anger management and family reunification. Our staff also has expertise in treating and preventing alcohol and drug abuse and early intervention. Until their prior company was acquired in March, 2005, Forren managed more than twenty correctional contracts with city, county, state and federal governmental agencies.
Dr. Octavio Delgado, joined forces with Paladin in 2006, bringing Eastside Counseling together with Paladin to provide a broad range of services in the correctional / psychological arenas. Dr. Delgado, founder of Eastside Counseling, is a licensed clinical psychologist who’s career includes psychotherapy and family reunification services to abused children. Dr. Delgado’s expertise includes working with all sorts of children's issues , such as attention deficit disorders, conduct disorders, anxiety problems, school related problems, developmental disorders.
Paladin Eastside continues to grow as a leader in corrections and mental health services. Paladin Eastside is currently the operator of the Travis County SMART Facility/ Austin Texas, Tri-County Detention Center/ Ullin Illinois, and additionally provides over three thousand five hundred (3,500) hours of counseling per month at our three California offices located in Montebello, Orange County, and Fontana.
